We have such fond memories of Kim & Matt’s wedding weekend. We were so lucky to be involved with their planning process for the wedding day, which you an read about below, and a festival party the day after, which you can read about HERE by our sister company South Coast Events!

The ceremony room at The Sandbanks Hotel was beautifully decorated and the panoramic windows offered the loveliest view of the beach.

After the wedding ceremony, the guests enjoyed canapes and drinks on the terrace, overlooking the beach, whilst listening to a steel band.

After taking a vintage bus and a ferry, wedding guests arrived at Shell Bay Restaurant to enjoy the rest of the wedding day. Shell Bay Restaurant is located in Studland, just a few minutes walk from the ferry. It has the most stunning views and it’s very easy to see why Kim & Matt chose it for their special day!

After enjoying a glass or two of Prosecco, guests sat down for a delicious wedding breakfast and the wedding speeches, along with some close up magic at the tables from magician, Matt Baker.

After dinner, guests enjoyed Prosecco from a cute yellow Prosecco van from The Prosecco Van Ltd, ice cream from Brock Ice Traditional Ice Cream Bikes and jet skis in the harbour from Jet Ski Safaris!

After Kim & Matt’s first dance, there was a surprise appearance from some Oompah Loompahs – one of our more unusual requests, it has to be said! Cue many selfies with them!
Guests also enjoyed listening to saxophonist Vicky Barents, a casino from Viva Las Vegas, caricaturist Danny Byrne and a photo booth from The Photo Booth Bournemouth.

Kim & Matt chose to have a wedding cake in the shape of their cute pug, Billy. Hayley at Sweetcheeks Bakehouse certainly had her work cut out for her with this one but she did an amazing job and everyone thought it was an ornament rather than a wedding cake!
Kim & Matt’s invitations and wedding stationery also featured Billy and was created by Jellicoe Creative Wedding Stationery.

Guests enjoyed the mild weather late into the evening with much dancing, drinking and enjoyment! The band was The Alibi Band and the DJ was The Ultimate Disco.
