As weddings go, Sarah & Kieran’s was pretty epic, in terms of the locations and breathtaking views.
Their wedding ceremony was at St Mary’s Church on Brownsea Island, so Sarah and her bridesmaids got ready in one of the rooms in Brownsea Castle.
The guests arrived at the jetty, from Poole Quay, on the Dorset Queen and walked upto the church.
Sarah, her bridesmaids and parents walked up to the church from the castle and then, after the ceremony; Sarah, Kieran and all of the guests returned to the castle grounds for canapes and drinks.
Wedding Transport
The guests needed to be shuttled to the jetty at Sandbanks to then hop onto a coach and go over on the chain ferry to Studland.
This was logistically the most challenging part of the day, as Sandbanks was so full of people enjoying the weather.
Thankfully, staying in constant contact with the coach drivers, we were able to get everyone across without too much delay. It felt a bit like a school trip, making sure everyone was accounted for!
Beach Wedding Venue Dorset
The second location for the day was Studland Bay House. Sarah & Kieran had a traditional marquee overlooking the sea. The views are incredible!
