Post-Lockdown Wedding
Photography by Amber Blue Weddings
On 6th June, Linzi & Mikey’s wedding was our first one back after the restrictions were lifted.
I think it’s safe to say that emotions were high.
It marked a special day for them both and also people being able to mix, albeit still only thirty, but they could have their wedding with their nearest and dearest and that’s what counted.
They celebrated their wedding day at the lovely Sopley Mill, a wedding venue on the Dorset/Hampshire border.
It’s a beautiful backdrop and you can keep things simple, decoration wise, or go all out if you want to.
Linzi arrived with her dad in a VW Camper Van and her bridesmaids arrived in a second camper, both provided by Dorset Dub Hire.
Their wedding ceremony was beautiful, with lots of happy tears from the couple and guests alike. And I won’t lie, I think most of the suppliers were in tears at one point or another. Everyone was just thrilled to be back doing what they love!
Celebrant, Sally Bawden conducted their ceremony, which was personal to them and included their own written vows.
Despite numbers being small, they didn’t scale back on their plans. The venue stylist, Love by Design Weddings, and florist, Blooming Marvellous Creations, did an incredible job of making their vision a reality.
Linzi is a cake maker herself, so created a beautiful wedding cake for her own wedding!
It was a pleasure to provide On the Day Coordination for Linzi & Mikey at Sopley Mill.
